@natchriss is absolutely correct. Piklist is GPLv2 which means you can do what you want with the code as long as you don’t infringe on the copyright.

However, Piklist is designed to be a standalone plugin, and will not work properly if you include it in a theme or another plugin. To be perfectly clear, we just don’t support it and will do everything we can to discourage it. You can read why here. We believe by doing this you are not actually helping your users, and you are hurting the Piklist project.

I hope you agree this is a bad idea.

@jcrist– Nice idea! I don’t think we need to add the column since it’s already in wp_post. We can just add an orderby parameter. We are rethinking post-relate, but any changes probably won’t happen until after we release 0.9.5.
