SteveKeymaster@mpodboreski– We just pushed v0.5.3 to WordPress.org which will fix your issue.
SteveKeymaster@memphismckay– Thanks for stopping by! 😉 We really want to work out all the kinks before we start to release applications. As soon as we have something, we will announce on the website.
Which application(s) would you like to see released first?
SteveKeymaster@mpodboreski– Thank for the kind words. We will be offering a Contact Manager in the (hopefully near) future. You can definitely build it today with Piklist, but our solution will be out-of-the-box.
We really appreciate the offer to donate, but right now we just want you to use it and provide feedback.
SteveKeymaster@mpodboreski– It seems like the WordPress.org update was incomplete. I deleted the plugin and reinstalled it.
It’s working now. All good!
Let us know if you need anymore help… and please provide feedback so we can make Piklist better.
SteveKeymaster@mpodboreski– It shouldn’t matter. I tested on a Mulitisite setup. Would you mind giving us temporary Admin and FTP access so we can take a look?
You can email us here: http://piklist.com/contact/
SteveKeymaster@mpodboreski– Please change your Piklist folder/file structure to:
/piklist/parts/settings/demo-setting.phpYou need to include the “parts” subfolder. I just updated our documentation to reflect this.
SteveKeymaster@mpodboreski– Is the field code in your FUNCTIONS.PHP file, or did you place it in your piklist/settings/ folder? You can see the full folder structure here.
SteveKeymaster@mpodboreski– Congratulations, you found our first bug! And a typo in our tutorial…
We just pushed an updated version to WordPress.org, so please update the plugin. And then try the new code snippet on the tutorial.
Let us know how it works.
SteveKeymaster@lkincr– thank you for the kind words. We have a lot more in store for you.
1) visit your a permalinks settings page. That should remove the 404. Keep in mind the demo CPT is really for Backend admin. You would want to add the meta fields into your theme manually.
2) links to Tutorials and Docs are updated!Let us know if that works.
