A silly question perhaps, but I haven’t found the answer yet. If anyone could help me out, I’d appreciate it.

In cases like “post to post relationship” metaboxes, or a ‘custom’ category/taxonomy metabox, (or whenever we use this kind of meta where we retrieve data)

how to include a field to add a new taxonomy name / related post title / etc. ?

I don’t mind if it can’t be a link but a text box instead (like when you add tags), I just want to be able to add data. 🙂
