cotswoldphotoMembermmm
I will have to rethink how I do this then. Thanks for getting back to me.
cotswoldphotoMemberDo you know what setting was causing it?
cotswoldphotoMemberAs to the Joomla thing, that was where we came from before switching to WordPress. Under the title of every post/page in WordPress, appears the date published and author. I figured out how to get rid of the author, but it is SITE wide. Not per post/page. In joomla, on each post and page, you can optionally show or hide the author and date published. WordPress could do with this. Now, there is a plugin called Show Hide Author that works. I just found that. But I didn’t find an equivalent for the date 🙁
cotswoldphotoMemberYou got mail, I hope.
cotswoldphotoMemberOK. Did that. W3 Total Cache is the conflict (and yes, you could guess that I started at ‘A’). LOL.
BTW. I am sort of sure it can’t be done in WordPress Helpers as it is, but is it possible to introduce Joomla-like control over the meta data display? It allows you to switch it off (as it appears under the title), or individually switch off date and/or author. You can, off course, switch off comments already. Most folk have static pages that really don’t need these showing, I know I do. I am using a less than user friendly plugin that simply hides these using css, but it is a pain to set it up.
cotswoldphotoMemberGuess what?
That won’t save either. So it won’t show System under Tools.
cotswoldphotoMemberYes, but it won’t turn off. I click disable, save, and it is still on??
