    Hello Steve,
    So kind of you to ask, but no I still get the same error message as described in my initial post above.
    I have installed the latest beta version, cleared WordPress’s cache, removed all cookies from the browsers (Edge, Opera, Firefox & Chrome), cleared browsers cache, deactivated most plug-ins (just in case) but no luck.
    If your tests are working fine, then I’m definitely doing something wrong.

    I downloaded and installed the latest beta (it shows up in the plug-in list as Version 0.10), but it’s actually 0.10 beta2.

    But the issue is still there. Does the posted link point to the latest beta that you mentioned?

    P.S. And you are absolutely correct. I am able to save the created custom shortcode anyway.
