You can do this with the Post 2 Post plugin. While it isn’t built into Piklist – it is actually a great option.

Also… possible suggestion to Steve and the Piklist team… scribu has been developing the P2P plugin for many years. I’ve been using it for quite some time, and it is solid. About a month ago, he said he is no longer going to update it. Looks like they are trying to find someone who wants to take it over.

This seems like the perfect integration with Piklist – since you don’t have this feature yet. Perhaps take on P2P and merge it into Piklist to become a complete WP framework?
