    Not having much luck here. I want to create a plugin that other people can use for free, but can’t figure out how to display the custom fields on the front end. Since other people will have different themes I want to avoid dealing with themes and create a template within the plugin. The link you shared isn’ helping, are there other examples of this specific to Piklist?

    I’m looking for a field that works like WordPress tags, where you start typing and existing tags matching appear, but if no tags already exist it adds them. Rather than tags though, I want to do the same thing for other post types.

    Is it advisable to use the theme approach even with a third-party theme I purchased?
