      Hi

      Just wached the NYC presentation about the framework but I’m not sure the shown application can be made with Piklist.

      For example tabs don’t seem to be possible anymore. Also notes, a great feature, isn’t straightforward to think within piklist.

      What I’m missing? Hope I could take a look at the Contacts..

      Thiago– Try installing the Trunk version from WP.org. Then activate the Demos. You should see Tabs and the code that you can use to generate them.

      Let us know if you have any questions.

        @Steve / @sbruner

        I’m working on a system that needs a complex user management.

        If piklist had some tricks to easy the process would be great..

        How did you built the Users as Post List functionality?

      Steve, cool I’m seeing some Tab functionality.

      Another feature was the User Listing as Post List. Was that a piklist trick?

      @sbruner in this video you’re on a user.php screen/page, when you click “edit” (to edit a user), the next screen/page is from post.php. I think the question is (and I would like to know as well)…how do you create this functionality to “borrow” the screen (instead of being on a user-edit.php screen)?

      @oakwood– Unfortunately, you’re going to have to wait until we release our contact manager to see how we do that magic. 😉

        @sbruner Can you give us an idea when your Contact Manager might be released?

      @oakwood– A basic explanation of how Piklist does this is the scope parameter >. Just because a field is displaying and saving on the post screen, doesn’t mean the data needs to go a “Post”. Scope allows you to save the data anywhere. In this case we are passing the User ID, and setting 'scope' => 'user_meta'.

      @emzo– Once Piklist hits version 1.0 we can release the Contact Manager.

      5 years later…
      1.0 has been out for a while, where’s the Contact Manager?
      Would be greatly helpful to have a complete app as an instructional resource.
