hyltonMemberHello
Does Piklist allow the admin menu to be edited, to hide page, post, etc.?
Does Piklist allow the user roles to be edited, to change or remove editor, author, etc.?
Does Piklist allow different menu items to be shown dependent on the user role?Or asked another way, How does piklist.com achieve this functionality?
For example, I have logged in to type this question, but at no point have I seen the WordPress backend. I have seen a completely custom “My Account” page. Is that possible with Piklist? If not, how did you achieve this?
Thank you.

jcristMemberI believe they are using the Easy Digital Downloads plugin for the My Account pages

SteveKeymaster@jcrist– Right again!
We are using Easy Digital Downloads, and it automatically creates the My Account page.

hyltonMemberThank you very much for the plugin reference.
After posting my question, I realised that I still need my initial questions answered, as the picture on the Piklist homepage has someone logged into the backend of WordPress working on a custom order page.
As you have already created full apps for clients:
Does Piklist allow the admin menu to be edited, to hide page, post, etc.?
Does Piklist allow the user roles to be edited, to change or remove editor, author, etc.?
Does Piklist allow different menu items to be shown dependent on the user role?If not, how did you deal with these issues when creating the app for Calfee Design?

SteveKeymasterDoes Piklist allow the admin menu to be edited, to hide page, post, etc.?
Piklist doesn’t do this. For projects that require this we have manually edited the$menuand$submenuglobals. We’ve heard good things about this plugin if you don’t want to write code.Does Piklist allow the user roles to be edited, to change or remove editor, author, etc.?
We would recommend using the Members plugin.Does Piklist allow different menu items to be shown dependent on the user role?
Piklist allows you to set this with Admin or Settings pages. WordPress already does this based on user capabilities when you register a post type or taxonomy.Does this help?
