      Right after upgrading on a multisite installation I get:
      Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in …public_html/wp-content/plugins/piklist/includes/class-piklist.php on line 2715

      Looks like you’re running on older version of PHP. You probably want to have your webhost upgrade that since WordPress is recommending PHP 7.2.

      In the meantime, we just released v0.11 which supports PHPv5.3+ and should fix your issue.
