cyclissmoMemberCaveat emptor: I am a Modx developer who works with WordPress only on client request.
I stumbled across this plugin a few months ago and it seems like a perfect fit for a project I am working on. I am finding that this plugin, at least for me, has a fairly steep learning curve due to the documentation. I can’t wrap my head around some of the functionality due to the format of the docs and gaps in details. Looking at the source code doesn’t help because public methods and properties have no usage comments. I’m slowly finding my way, but if it were not for the demos I would be completely lost.
Am I missing something or are there advanced docs beyond the User Guide, maybe a comprehensive piklist API or something?

SteveKeymaster@cyclissmo– I’m sorry you’re having a slow time learning Piklist. The User Guide is still a work in progress. The Demos have been included to show off features, but also act as a built in learning tool.
We’re here to help. Let us know what you would like to build with Piklist.

cyclissmoMemberThank you sir. I hope my post didn’t come across as a complaint. Piklist is a fantastic piece of work, and what I’ve learned about it so far has changed my perception of WordPress being a viable development platform to offer my clients now. I’m sure if I worked with WordPress more frequently I would have less trouble understanding how piklist works.
