  I noticed that there is an error on – https://piklist.com/user-guide/tutorials/display-taxonomies-as-a-dropdown-or-radio-buttons/
  
  To make these Checkboxes, just change ‘type’ => ‘select’, to ‘type’ => ‘checkboxes’.
  
  It should be ‘checkbox’ not ‘checkboxes’ (at least ‘checkboxes’ did not work for me)

  Also, there is another error on – https://piklist.com/user-guide/docs/taxonomies/
  
  In the code block, hide_meta_box should be inside the configuration array.
