      Hi,

I’m not sure this is 100% Piklist specific, but I am having some difficulty getting a CTP I created with Piklist to show on the front-end of WP.

I have created a CPT with a slug of ‘test’ and I have created a file called ‘test-single.php’ – In that file I have a basic WP loop (I’m not sure if this is the heart of the issue), however, I keep getting a 404 – is there something else I need to do?

      Thanks in advance,
      Ian

I should probably also mention that the CPT described above is being created from a Plugin, and I am putting the ‘single-test.php’ (apologies for the mistake in the firsts post) file in the active theme’s root.

I tried looking at the Piklist Demos for clues but to no avail.

      Thanks once again,

      Ian

Registering a Post Type with WordPress or Piklist shouldn’t matter. Piklist just lets you add more configuration options.

Did you flush your permalinks? Visit SETTINGS > PERMALINKS. You don’t even have to save that settings page, just visit it and your permalinks are flushed. This is an issue with the way WordPress registers CPT’s.

      Hi,

I found the issue, I had publicly_queryable set to false!

You can close this – thank you anyway.
