      WordPress Helpers: 1.9.1
      Wordpress: 4.3.1

      Admin Bar greeting changed to “Welcome”.

      Save settings > Logout > Login.

      It still reads “How are you”.

      Does this setting still work?

      @wickyd– This should work fine. What version of Piklist are you using? Do you have any other plugins installed that might conflict with this?

      Elegant Themes Updater: Version 1.1
      Ninja Forms: Version 2.9.28
      Piklist: Version 0.9.4.29
      WordPress Helpers: Version 1.9.1

      @wickyd— Try switching to a WordPress default them, and disable the Elegant themes updater. Does that help?

      @Steve – I have done so, and unfortunately it doesn’t help. The other WP Helpers options that I have tested do work, but not the admin bar greeting.

      I just pushed a new version of WP Helpers, v1.9.2. Please let me know if it fixes your issue.

      Hi Steve, thank you for your excellent support.

      Unfortunately, the new version does not change the Admin Bar greeting.

      Please note that under Tools > Helpers > General, it reads: Leave blank for default “Howdy,”.

      Wordpress no longer reads: “Howdy”. It currently reads “How are you,”.

      Is it possible that WordPress changed how it renders that greeting, causing your plugin to no longer change that setting?

      The other settings work, but not that one.

      @wickyd– If you type something else into that field and save, does the admin bar greeting change?

      @Steve – No, unfortunately not.

      Not on stable or trunk Piklist.

      You may have some corrupted data, so you may want to try and removing the setting.

      -Take note of any WP Helpers options you have.
      -Open the wp_options table in your database and remove this setting: piklist_wp_helpers
      -Try saving again and see if it works now.
