      Is it possible to group fields in order to use add_more with them?

      e.g. If I had a field group for “Giggles”, each one having a text input “Foo” and a datepicker “Bar”, and I wanted users to be able to add multiple entries as groups.

      @edbury– You can definitely do this, and we have an example in the Piklist Demos included with Piklist:
      -PIKLIST > SETTINGS: activate and Save “Piklist Demos”
      -A new Post Type is created, called “Piklist Demos”
      -Click ADD NEW

      Check out the FIELD GROUPS section. There is an ADD-MORE example I think should help you.

      The path to the file that builds those fields is also listed in the meta box for your reference.

      Also, please update to v0.6.1 which I just pushed to WordPress.org. While researching this for you I found a small bug, which we fixed.

      @steve – Awesome, thanks. Looks like the syntax is super simple as well (not sure why I’d expect anything else from Piklist).

      Semi-related: just updated to .6.1, looks like I can’t disable the Piklist demos from the admin panel.

      @edbury– By any chance are you running Multisite? I think we have a small bug there.

      Unfortunately, you need to remove the option called ‘piklist’ from the options table until we fix this bug.

      @steve – Yup. Multisite install.

      It’s not a huge deal, just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something obvious.

      @steve – just noticed that descriptions aren’t showing up for field groups with add_more (not in my own nor in the Piklist demo).

      @edbury– The main field supports a description… the fields in the group do not. Try using a “label”. If that doesn’t work for you please let us know where you would want to see a description and we’ll see if we can make it work.

      @steve – The main field is the one I’m having trouble showing it with.

      Here’s a link to my example on pastebin.

      And the resulting screenshot.

      The same thing is happening with the Piklist demo; description for the main field (with type = group), but no description showing up under the field.

      @edbury– Thanks for the screenshot… I thought you were talking about metaboxes. 😉

      We can definitely use your help here, since we are not sure where to place “descriptions” in field groups. Field groups are designed to be pretty flexible…. having multiple fields on one line. Where would you like to see the “description” displayed?
