Test drive our new products, with the Piklist Beta Program

We need your help. With Piklist core well on its way to version 1.0, we are starting to roll out other plugins we have in the pipeline. Before making these products available to the general public, we are offering them to small groups of users for beta testing.

If you sign up, we would provide you with pre-release versions of our upcoming products. What do we want in return? Feedback. Lots of feedback. TONS of feedback. How useful are these products? What do you think of the workflow? The user interface? What features are we missing? Did you find any bugs?

These products are not production ready and SHOULD NOT BE USED IN A PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT. We cannot stress that enough. Besides remedying the normally occurring bugs during this phase, we may also modify how things work, and how data is saved. Backwards compatibility is not our main focus while in beta; we want to maximize potential.

We are currently accepting beta signups for: “Piklist Toolbox” and “Piklist Fields and Forms”. Please watch our videos to learn more about them. Just a warning: turn down the volume before you start playing them… or turn it up ;)

You can sign up for our Beta Programs here >

They both look awesome :) Can’t wait to try them out!

Piklist Fields and Forms is THE feature I was looking for.
I was suscribed both of your new beta tools.

Few months ago I decided to complitly rebuild my product “kattagami” (conference saas product) with Piklist and give up my own framework.

I’m looking forward to see your NY Wordcamp presentation.

    1. zanedickens says:

@Gilles I took a look at Kattagami – that’s seriously impressive and inspirational for what someone can do with Piklist. It’s got my mind working on how I can make something like that for authors :)

  3. Zach says:

So excited for these to be released. Piklist will be so useful for many of the custom dev projects I work on.

  4. No3x says:

Didn’t dive into code but: If I use such Form Builder I always need to work with the data on code level. For example: append a field to the subject of an automatically created email.
So the key point for me is: the API.

    1. Steve says:

@No3X– The Piklist Framework is all code based and can do everything you want. If you have questions, please post on our support forums. We’ll be happy to help.

    Good stuff! Both look excellent!

Admittedly, I’m a bit more excited about the Toolbox, as I prefer meta-boxes to be part of the code-base, but it looks great for quick and simple meta-boxes. I know everything Piklist does is all an extension of the WP core, so please consider documenting things like the Toolbox features such that they could be accomplished easily in code. Otherwise the adjustments are stored in the database and, on top of not being as easily shared, tracked, etc., it causes further overhead from database requests. I hope Piklist stays strong to its developer roots. :)

Hi, I am theme developer. I like Piklist Fields and Forms. Is it possible to create with this instrument fields that I need and then add some code to theme files, so this fields will be added in theme by default?

Were you going to be sending out beta invites yet or has that been pushed back? I thought I had signed up for beta around the day it was announced, and still don’t see any invites.

    1. Steve says:

We’re releasing a few everyday. Should pick up speed by the end of the week.

    Hi

Can I ask what happened to the beta program, I’ve still not heard a thing, seen any code or even an update?

You say you’re releasing a few everyday back in August, surely it would have got to me by now?

I signed up on the 5th of August, so quite a long time…

“Fields and Forms” is delayed. Toolbox beta has been out for a while. Would you like the Toolbox beta?

      1. Onebob says:

        Hi Steve

Been out of action for a while, so missed your reply.

Yes please absolutely anything I can try, I’d love too…

        Thanks

Would like to see more info/videos/tuts on how Toolbox and Fields and Forms will work. The teasers were.. well just teasers.
    Thanks, Kelter

    1. Steve says:

Hi Keiter– More information is coming. I just activated your Toolbox license, so you can start playing immediately. Let us know what you think.

  10. byronyasgur says:

How do I get these? I signed up for the beta programme

    1. Steve says:

@byronyasgur– You can download Toolbox now from the Toolbox page. Fields and Forms is not ready for testing yet.

  11. pwwwpwww says:

Just downloaded Toolbox. Am I being dim or is this just WP Helpers? I have both installed…

    1. Steve says:

Toolbox is a combination of WP Helpers and a Custom Post Type and Taxonomy UI. Go to Piklist > Add-ons to activate the UI’s.
