I have a CPT already but I need to have the same fields appear in a form on the frontend.

Does Piklist have any “magic” to offer?

      Hi @bicho44,

you say that you use form plug-in for CPT created by piklist, could I know which one and how you use it?

@Steve Can I get beta version to test front end form? How it works?

      Thanks

      Hi @bicho44,

Is piklist form is a separate plugin we can use with piklist to create front end forms ?

Hozefa– Front-end forms are ready to go, and are included in Piklist. No other plugin is necessary. Just added some documentation here>

Sample code for creating a Post from the front-end can be found in the built-in Demos>

Let us know if you have any questions

      Hi @steve,

Will the latest version 0.9.4.29 support it? as I am seeing the latest version of piklist in news shows 0.9.9.6, so is the plugin available to download at wordpress.org is the latest version or its going to updated there?

@hozefasmile, the front-end forms code was added in Piklist beta 0.9.5, so it will not be in any of the 0.9.4.x versions.

0.9.4.29 is still the stable release that is listed on wordpress.org. You can download 0.9.9.6 (or the latest work in progress) at http://piklist.com/trunk.

Hi @mcmaster, when I updated the plugin to this latest 0.9.9.6 version it started to through an error Fatal error: Call to undefined method Piklist::process_views() in /home/uniqueu0/public_html/piklist/wp-content/plugins/piklist/includes/class-piklist-notices.php on line 21

      What would be the cause?

      @hozefasmile-

process_views is an old method, its not in trunk at all. Please re-download and re-install.

      Thanks,

      Kevin

Hi @steve, it worked, first I disabled my theme that was using piklist, then removed the old piklist files from FTP and then again uploaded your new version 0.9.9.6 and it has the “form” folder and frontend form example.

I had tried it and it works! I am planning to create some demo app using this latest version, will submit my experience with it in the forum 🙂

      Thanks
      Hozefa
