Required Featured Image when Publishing

You can now require a Featured Image when publishing a post. If there’s no image assigned, your post will be saved in Draft mode. Once you assign a Featured Image, you can Publish or Schedule.

List all Image sizes available

When you upload an image to WordPress, it automatically creates multiple versions based on your theme settings. Now you can see all the sizes available, complete with urls to each image.

Exif Data

If there’s Exif Data available for your images, WP Helpers will show it to you.

Image embed defaults

Click “Add Media”…  choose the image you want to place in your post.. and then choose Alignment, Link Type and Image Size. WP Helpers makes this easier by letting you set those defaults.

WordPress Helpers update: Post Excerpt with WYSIWYG https://piklist.com/2015/05/22/wordpress-helpers-update-post-excerpt-with-wysiwyg/ https://piklist.com/2015/05/22/wordpress-helpers-update-post-excerpt-with-wysiwyg/#comments Fri, 22 May 2015 15:00:28 +0000 http://piklist.com/?p=3685 Our best ideas have always come from our users, and this one is no exception. This week on our support forum, @mcmaster wanted to add a WYSIWYG editor to the Post excerpt box. While this is super easy using the Piklist framework, we decided to make it even easier and add it to our WordPress Helpers plugin.

Download WordPress Helpers v1.6.3, and head over to the “Writing” tab to activate “WYSIWYG for Post Excerpts”. While you’re there, you may want to check out other 50+ settings that let you take control of WordPress!
